The NSL learning initiative aims to deliver a structured and engaging educational experience through a series of four books, each containing 8-12 chapters. the primary goal is to align the learning material with the brand’s core concept of “natural spoken language” (NSL), providing a seamless progression from elementary to advanced proficiency levels. the content and presentation are tailored to resonate with learners at every stage, fostering a natural and intuitive understanding of the language.
Idea
Who says you need a computer science degree to create complex solutions? NSL Learning modules are designed so that even middle school students can easily build solutions. our mascots, Kia and Sam take you through these engaging video lessons, bite-sized concepts, and an intuitive learning path, to make you go from a novice to a solution-building expert—in just one hour!
Design Style for Execution:
We followed a structured approach through the old-school blackboard and chalk method. We divided the curriculum into four interactive sub-modules that help learners gradually master concepts, building skills from the ground up.

Doodle and scribble fonts emphasize clarity and simplicity, aligning with the “natural” theme.

Green boards and markers are introduced in intermediate stages.
Advanced stages incorporate whiteboards and digital screens for a sleek, professional feel.

Kia & Sam Evolves with the learning stages, using chalk, markers, or digital tools as needed.
Animations of the characters include precise lip-syncing of vowels, ensuring natural and realistic movement.
Testing And Iterative Process
Testing of the concepts was internally evaluated with a few classes, ensuring clarity,
engagement, and alignment with objectives. Many videos
required rework on pace and voice
clarity, and in some cases, adding demonstrations made the material easier to understand. This
streamlined
approach ensures the NSL learning material remains engaging, relatable, and
effective across all proficiency levels, reinforcing the brand’s
mission to make learning
natural and accessible.
